Outlook Express
It is recommended that you should set up your email client software (Outlook/Entourage/Thunderbird) to check for email at an interval of 20 minutes or more.
Periods less than this can casue your software to 'jam' and stop receiving email. This can only be 'fixed' by logging onto your email account via webmail:
